Motorola Unveils New Devices Droid Pro And Droid 2 Global
Motorola is renowned for its regular churn out of new and improved handsets. Recently the cell phone giant has announced two new handsets which are an upgrade to the Droid 2 The Motorola Droid 2 Global and Droid Pro. Most details about the phones are being kept under wraps for the moment. The only thing that we can see about the new phones is the classy candy-bar structure of the Droid Pro and the 1.2 GHZ boost on the Droid Global. The Motorola Droid 2 is definitely one of the jewels in Motorolas crown and users are eagerly awaiting the two new upgrades.

The Droid 2 is a much sleeker phone than the Droid and also comes with a faster processor, double the RAM of the Droid and the latest Android 2.2. The slide out QWERTY keypad makes messaging and emailing simpler, without making the phone bulky. Sleek phones are especially prone to damage due to their light body and propensity to being dropped. Hence cell phone cases become extremely crucial to help protect the phone. Droid 2 accessories and Droid Pro accessories come in a large range which users can choose from.

Droid 2 Accessories like cell phone cases are the most ideal option if protection of phone is your primary aim. These cases come in a variety of material but one of the most common one is the leather case. These cases are also available as a part of the Droid Pro accessories and provide simplicity and ensure that the phone remains safe even in case of drops. While the variety in Droid 2 accessories and Droid Pro accessories is vast, it is important to buy high quality cell phone cases from a trusted source. A poor quality case can defeat the purpose and end up causing damage to the phone.

Droid Pro for over priced

Motorola Droid Pro as we all know is the most hyped up device by Motorola. This smart phone is claimed to have some exceptional features to actually stun its users. The hand set is also in news because of the continuous leaks associated with this name. Now according to this new leak, the hand set is expected to be priced at 9.99, quite a big shock for many of you. With this price tag, the hand set is certainly going to be the most expensive in the category of Android powered devices. Droid pro is expected to give a tough competition to BlackBerry, but this leak is leaving a question on this exaggerated claim. There are discussions going if people would like to shift to Motorola in case of Smart phones, that too on such a high cost.

People are really thinking over the option as investing a big sum of money on a small screen hand set that too with average specifications, is a worth questioning issue. Moreover if people don’t want to move too far, one can compare the hand set with the same company’s Droid X bearing much better specs and is priced too less with 9.99 only. This is really putting the Droid pro on big question. If Motorola is really planning to give tough competition to BlackBerry then it has to really come up with something solidified, just the Android support or any sort of marketing strategy wont work for them, its BlackBerry and one needs something really worth to stand against the big giant of Smart phone world.Time will show if the company is really able to cope up with the tough competition lined up by top rivals. Brand name is always a big advantage with Motorola and will keep giving benefit to the company.

Motorola Milestone 3 is the Latest Droid From US Manufacturer

The original Milestone, known in the United States as the Droid, was the device that repositioned Motorola at the top of the smartphone market after the sudden and dramatic shift to touchscreen phones after the release of the first iPhone back in 2007. This device made use of the Android operating system and won over a lot of support for its perfect combination of touchscreen and QWERTY keyboard. It also had a lot of appeal for its futuristic and robust image and design ethos.

Motorola has since released a couple more devices into this series and now has another Milestone handset up their sleeves which is due to be released towards the end of 2011. This device has not had all of its details confirmed by Motorola but there are many features that are already known about this smartphone that are likely to position it as a highly popular Android phone.

The phone will be joining the latest phone craze of dual core processors with either a 1GHz or 1.2GHz dual core processor on board, along with a corresponding 1GB RAM to make it an exceptionally powerful device.

With this hardware it should be able to easily enjoy all of the latest games and apps that are on offer from Android Market and to which the Milestone 3 will be privy.

The screen will also see a major enhancement with the Milestone 3 now featuring a larger 4.3″ qHD multitouch display. This will offer much great visual quality and detail while at the same time plenty more room to enjoy activities like videos and web browsing. The phone is expected to have improvements made to its 3G and Wi-Fi connections, with DLNA Wi-Fi allowing video content from the phone to be enjoyed from a home television.

The famous QWERTY keyboard of the new Milestone has also had a makeover with an improved 5 row design making easier than ever to type away to friends.

This will greatly complement the excellent threaded SMS, email and instant messaging option that will come included as well as the fantastic social networking integration for websites like Facebook.

There are some rumours that the Milestone 3 will also support the optional docking ports of the Motorola Atrix as well. This seems likely seeing as Motorola would not just introduces these peripherals for one phone, and these optional extras will for the first time allow you to transform your droid into a laptop or a multimedia hub.

Also included will be an improved 5 megapixel camera with HD video recording support, and a secondary camera for video calling. Running on either Android Gingerbread or the yet to be released Android Ice Cream Sandwich the Milestone 3 is likely to be a huge success due to the number of people who were won over by previous Motorola Milestone devices. Motorola has still yet to confirm all of the final details but either way the Milestone 3 will be an excellent QWERTY droid to look forward to, and should see release sometime in September 2011.

Motorola Milestone 3 Brings Webtop to Droid Series

Motorola have been in the mobile phone industry since its early days in the 1970s and just a few years back were one of the top manufacturers in the world alongside Nokia. It was not so long ago that Motorola was breaking ground and breaking sales records with their popular RAZR handsets, although the advent of the iPhone and touchscreen smartphones in 2007 proved disastrous for the company.
The emergence of the Google Android OS saved the day for Motorola when they released their debut touchscreen handset the Motorola Droid released in 2009 and known outside of the United States as the Motorola Milestone. This was the phone that revived Motorola’s fortunes and spawned a number of sequel devices including the Milestone XT720 and Milestone 2.
The Milestone range has proved immensely popular due to its QWERTY keyboards and Timescape interface, which was one of the first smartphone interfaces to successfully implement full social networking integration and was the first smartphone to feature Google Maps.
The latest Milestone features a similar design to the original handsets albeit with a slimmer body and an improved 5-row keyboard.

The Milestone 3 will be Motorola’s first dual core smartphone and come packing a nippy 1GB RAM providing an exceptionally fast rendering of the Google OS.
The screen has had a revamp too, being upped a notch from the earlier 3.7″ to a roomier 4″ display. This will serve to make the Milestone 3 more ideally suited to video content and web browsing and the sharper qHD resolution provides far superior visual quality over its predecessors. While featuring excellent 3G and Wi-Fi connections, including DLNA, the Milestone 3 will come with a 4G counterpart in the United States in the form of the Droid X2. Unfortunately this will not make its way to the UK as there are currently no 4G networks for it to operate on.
Like its high profile cousin the Atrix the Milestone 3 is rumoured to feature support for Motorola’s webtop OS, which means that the phone could be compatible with the additional laptop and media hub docking ports of the later smartphone. The phone is also expected to come with an HDMI port which, alongside the DLNA Wi-Fi, will allow you to connect the phone to a home TV or other device.
The Milestone 3 will more than likely not see release for another few months, with some sources speculating that we may even have to wait until September to get hold of one. Considering this phone has not been officially announced by Motorola just yet this seems like a real possibility.
While rumours are now speculating that the phone will come running Android Gingerbread it is entirely conceivable that Google will have released a new update to their mobile OS by that point, with Android fanatics suggesting it will be known as Android Ice Cream Sandwich. With this scheduled for release sometime in mid-2011 it seems quite conceivable that this could make its way onto the Milestone 3.

Motorola Milestone 3 is the Latest QWERTY Droid of Choice

The original Milestone was the smartphone that allowed Motorola to get a firm footing in the touchscreen phone industry. Up until then Motorola had been a bit slow to move with the times but the Milestone, known in the United States as the Droid, instantly won a lot of appeal due to its perfect blend of Android and QWERTY keyboard. Despite investing a lot of energy in new devices like the Atrix, Motorola have also updated this iconic Android phone with a new edition to be released as the Milestone 3.
Motorola have still not confirmed all of the details of the next Milestone but a few things are already known about it. It will come with the latest Android on board, with this currently being Android Gingerbread. With a release set for some time in September there is a chance it may be unleashed to the public with Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and at any rate this will be on offer through an update in the future.
The Milestone 3 will of course retain its iconic QWERTY keyboard although this will have a slight revamp for improved typing experience.

It will now come with a new 5 row design making it more intuitive to use. There are plenty of messaging options to make good use of here, with threaded SMS, email, instant messaging and social networking with Facebook and others. The Milestone 3 will provide excellent 3G and Wi-Fi support, with DLNA allowing the streaming of visual content to a home TV.
There is speculation that the Milestone 3 will also support the docking ports of the Motorola Atrix, which will allow the Milestone 3 to be used as a laptop or a multimedia hub. Although this is unconfirmed it could prove likely as Motorola would surely not invest in these optional extras just for one smartphone.
The screen of the Milestone 3 will have a bump up in size to 4.3″ making it the largest Milestone phone yet, and at the same time will have its interface improved to a qHD resolution. The phone will also run on a dual core processor with some sources stating the speed could be up to 1.2GHz.
The Milestone 3 will also come with a 5 megapixel camera with at least 720p video recording, although quite likely it could come with 1080p video support by the time it is released in September. The phone will come packing the same entertainment features that made earlier versions so successful, including excellent music and video support, YouTube support and many excellent apps and games from Android Market.
The Milestone 1 and 2 had previously become phenomenally popular due to their combination of an excellent smartphone operating system and an easy to use QWERTY keypad that made them ideal devices for all forms of written communication. The Milestone 3 will build on this while at the same time offering some more up to date features such as dual core and a qHD display. The Milestone 3 will be the new choice of phone for tap happy Android lovers.

One of our readers asked me today if I? It is possible to get a new droid 2 or Droid The beautiful and turn it back and forth with his droid X
Ill tell you that it is possible, even though Verizon does not? T use SIM cards.
Verizon is based on CDMA, which means that they use the ESN number, which you can switch to another phone without signing a new two-year contract online at VerizonWireless.com.
If you still have? T to get your discount Droid X STILL, DON? T switch will result in loss of discount. Part repayment conditions is that the ESN number on the Droid X remains the same for the first 30 days.
After that you should be fine, you can safely buy Droid 2 without a contract, Droid Incredible without a contract, etc? Etc?
is good to know, for those who upgrade the phone a lot so they have somewhere in the brain, you never know.
here? S how to switch between multiple phones and Verizon Droid X:
Specifically, log in my account online at verizonwireless.com and you can change the ESN online. Then just dial * 228 option 1 and you? Well it again
postscript Sprint is the same, you change the ESN numbers as Verizon.

How to Win a Free Droid Phone

There is a lot of talk about free Motorola droid phones over the Internet. You wonder if theres a catch to it. You are not being paranoid when you actually stop and think whether there is a problem with such a good deal. The Internet has become the realm of thousands of cyber criminals. The anonymity of the World Wide Web has hidden the criminals and has rendered them to difficult to catch. So, if a free droid phone offer comes along, you logically think that there must be some catch unless it is the genuine but rare article. Freebies are given over the Internet for real, though. You just have to know where to find them.

Register with an Affiliated Site

There are some Motorola affiliated sites that only ask you to register. After registration and possibly even some participation to some surveys and the like, you may be able to avail your free Motorola android phone.

Just make sure that the registration seems genuine enough. By genuine, you are not being asked to reveal very personal information. You are not to be asked about your credit card information, either. You may end up becoming the victim of either identity theft or cyber robbery. If there are not a lot of fuss about you giving all sorts of information or paying a small fee then the site must either be genuine or a harmless prank. Do not feel so down, though. There are many genuine sites that provide freebies. In the case of the Motorola droid phone giveaway, there is a real function to the whole deal. Motorola still benefits because you will be asked about the pros and cons of the product. The company collects the information from those given the free units. The information will be used for future improvements.

Answer a Survey

You can fill out surveys to get a free phone without having to join a group or register to an organization. These surveys are usually related to the product that is being given away. If Motorola were to get the feedbacks of a certain group of people, the company could target subjects who are not weighed down by a products price. The focus of the product review is the performance and features.

Join a Raffle

There are raffles, both online and offline, where electronic devices are given away as prizes. A smart phone giveaway will certainly be popular and will find several people joining in to have a chance at the free droid phone. Charity and other fundraising organizations will jump at the opportunity of getting more people to buy raffle tickets by offering just one unit of the smart phone. The cost of the phone can easily be matched by the money that will be raised. There will also be enough money left for the fundraiser or for the charity. Raffles are fun to join. A free Motorola smart phone on the line will just add to the attraction.

Free phones are hard to find. If you can get one then you should consider yourself lucky. In general though, you will have to pay hard-earned money. This means in-depth research on the product you are interested in is very important.
